It sits a tad higher than the brake pedal.
In the ford manual it says to have it 140mm from the floor. Mine is sit at 140mm and works good.

i just adjusted mine to where it thought it was before and test drove it, then i had difficulty getting it into gear once i was driving so i gave it a tiny bit more and its fine, sits just above the brake pedal as mentioned

Hi, I know this is an old thread but you might be able to help me, I have the same problem
Do you measure it to the firewall or straight down? Also where did you get the clutch pedal spring from, mines missing

To the fire wall. Basically, you are measuring how far the pedal is travelling to fully disengage the clutch. That's why you measure to the firewall not the floor.
