Hey guys, I had a search on the site for this, but didn't find anyone with the same issue.

I bought my XH II 2nd hand about 2 years ago and ever since it's had a fairly whirry or noisy fuel pump. They dude I bought it from said it was because the fuel pump is up higher than in sedans/wagons due to the shape of the car. I took his work for it.

I haven't had a problem with it, but it is annoying and just wondering if it is on its way out, or if there is any benefit to changing it?

Are they easy to change?

My EL wagon is also noisy, can here it whine while coasting and going up hills, think it just the design of them, however cant remember my EF mont and EB being loud...

Could be a after market pump ?

i know my Walbro is nice and whiney and loud
