Hi guys,
I have a question about a 2002 Ford Focus LR LX MY2003 that I’m looking at on behalf of my girlfriend. It has 147,000 KM and has a full service book but unsure on any past repairs. I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience with these cars and if anyone recommends them or what should I look out for with them? We will be getting a RACV check done and the car comes with a RWC. Thanks in advance, Daniel |

Thank you. I heard that there were major issues with the transmission that almost required them to be rebuilt. Has anyone heard of this?

A bit late to the thread, but there's a brief list of things to look for at http://wikicars.net.au/reviews.php#!con ... us&gen=247. The timing belt is probably the major thing to keep an eye on.
The Mk.1 Focus was on sale in Europe from 1998, so you'd hope that Ford would have sorted out the most serious problems by the time it got to Aus. |
