hi im looking to put in a au centre console into my 96 xh xr6 ute for some cup holders aha is it a direct bolt on for it or is it a piss around?? also i have a manual

Hi,
I put one in my manual XG, the mounting points don't line up (you could easily make a bracket if you wanted) but i didn't even worry about bolting it down as it sat in their fine and didn't move anyway... This is the only pic i can find of it at the moment, but gives you an idea

so it dont move around ? pretty moulded in there?

Nope didn't move around at all (and I'm not one to go round corners slowly, or even slow down over speed humps, in fact I went scrub bashing and the console never moved a centimeter) Fits like a glove and had no need to bolt down

As an added bonus, you not only get cup holders, on the inside is a pen and coin holder... Certainly a classy piece of kit...

I just finished putting an AU console in my HX ute, mine's auto and I'd suggest that the manual should be a little easier since the line up of the shifter won't be as critical.
