My mate recently had his 1997 XH II XR6 ute converted from a factory 5 speed manual to an auto transmission. My question is, would the manual transmission and all the parts removed from his ute fit and work in my 1996 EF II classic? My EF is currently an auto but I want it manual and seeing as though I already have these parts at my disposal I was hoping to use them. Can someone please help me and let me know if this job will work?

Hi mate all parts should work. The peddal box might not. Im not sure if they are different in the utes
