Is it normal to have some movement (few mm, more so up and down, than side to side) of the steering wheel, from normal position with engine on or off. Got no access to any other ef/els to see if its normal play.

Torx bolt attaching wheel is tight and with airbag off, the whole unit seems to move together.

Can vigorous pulling to remove old steering wheel could've damaged some component to cause slight movement

Thanks for replies.

Well considering ive got an older EB that has no play at all it sounds like something is wrong.
