yea i'm probably leaving it auto, unless the btr decides to s**t itself or something.
What the go with diff gears by the way?
Is it a costly upgrade? and Whats it like to drive with 4.11s? it sounds a bit high imo. Hows the economy?

Honestly man people rubbish on that the revs are too high bla bla, I found the economy overall with 4.11s improves as the motor is under less load. highway is generally about 1Ltr per 100 worse but town is more then 1lt per 100 better.

Revs at 100 are 2300 110 2500. That's not high.

you can do either new 4.10 gears which are a "hob" style gear quiet as factory and strong. they will cost about $1000 installed.

or you can go cheap pintara 4.11s which are a mill gear. they are noisy and not very strong they will be about $450 fitted. but never shift kit it lol - I have broken 3 sets of s**t 4.11s lol

Ahhk. so it would have a bit of go to it.

I wouldn't mind getting a T5 but the auto/shift kit combo is going alright for now. I'm also a bit hesitant on the strength of the T5... As stated, if the auto dies I might lash out on one.

Yea thats true. So it evens out anyway.
2.5k isn't really that bad. But i'd have to be absolutely sure in which path I go when modifying my driveline before a dish out 1k then changing my mind.
Its one of many things ill take into consideration though.

Thought Id chuck up a few flashy pics even though nothing major is happening for a while.

The Work horse!

This is basically how it is at the moment. It has the the weirdest height at the front in my opinion.
Image

Just fooling around though, would love custom headlights and typhoon twists, as well as going back down an inch. Stocky would not be included (couldn't get the rear wheel right, so a steel wheel had to suffice).
Image

Anyway bought another head unit so this one is for sale. If anyone is interested, PM me or something.

Here's a work in progress. Kind of like the Jaguars of the same era. Looks fairly s**t right now but hopefully ill find a way to make it look good enough to go in the car.

Other than showing off, I think that's it.
