As the topic says will a BA/BF Airbox fit into a EL XR. Yes I know they do fit into othe E Series models but a mate brought up a good point that the bonnet vent in the XR may stop the bonnet from closing. I need to get rid of the restrictive EL intake and want to go with a BA/BF one but if the bonnet won't close it's an issue...

apparently its too tall, there was someone who made it fit though. the piping from the throttle body to airbox fits you just need to add a little at the end.

Iv seen ba/bf airboxes fitted to ef/els but i have no idea what mods were needed to fit it. i know for certian the fg xrt box is way to tall and doesnt fit as i tried to fit my brothers box when he upgraded his intake. Prob would fit if u cut the bottom of the box say 2in so the hood would close lol. Im looking into a ba bf intake pipe and airbox with xrt snorkle on my nl lane.
