hey guys looking at putting a manual into an nl fairlane and was wondering what il have to do with the tailshaft. will the auto one still do the job? or will i need a manual ute/wagon tailshaft?

The auto and T5 are the same length, so the same tailshaft will work.

Definitely will work with same shaft. You should have a long alloy one, the same as the stationwagons (which should also be transferable..)

You find some of them don't have a big hunk of metal for "balancing" harmonics at the front. The auto always had them, where as the manual didn't always.
