If you already have a chip snd you have the software to change or tune your chip.
Then you can basically turn off the egr feature and remove the egr all together.
So you dont necessarily need re tune buy switching thr egr off..
Unless its a chip with a generic tune that you cant modify?

The chip I have is from ChipTorque. I'm assuming the different companies all use a similar piece of hardware.

I can't wait to see what ECU is in this XR. The bloke said it was Tickford, but couldn't find any badges. Either way Ill get somthing from it.
