Where is the noise comming from?

when you start the car engine make ticking sound

Someone might confirm but it sounds like it could be an issue with the lifters, best bet would be to go and drop into your mechanic as if it is and a lifter breaks it can be very serious.

Very loud or just like a clock? Soft ticking is usually Injectors.

what fuel do you use? i have found in my fg if i use the 91 rated fuel, i get a wierd ticking noise, which is loud at startup.

My '09 FG XT makes a ticking noise when cold and warm, sounds like it's coming from the belt..

Ahh, I thought it might be that, but mine sounds kinda like it's coming from the spark plugs - gonna take it to ford soon
