Hi fellas,
I am dead keen on a particular set of rims which requires me to run a spacers/adapter which I am not prepared to do. So my only real option is to change over to the AU/BA offset. Now the benefits are not only do I get the rims I like but also improved braking. The car is a EL xr8 which already has a LSD and 3.45 gears. So I am looking at installing a AU 3.45 LSD diff to replace it. And in regards to the front I will run a a bigger brake set up. I just wanted to know can I run BA discs and calipers on the AU set or are they different? Thanks in advance |

I Assume you are refering to the rear brakes. If so, yes you can a few Papa Smurf and Troyman have set up BA brakes onto the AU Diff. Mind you Troymans is IRS. Better to fit the Territoy set up.
With the fronts, you will need to talk with the supplier, eg UPC. |

For the front I can just run the UPC big brake upgrade. Its more just the rear.
Can I just bolt up the AU diff? I dont have to run the BA brakes etc I just wanted to know if they bolt straight in. If they dont I happy with just the AU gear. And I definately dont want to start stuffing around with engineers etc as I just dont have the time |

So does anyone know if I can just bolt the AU diff straight in? What other mods are required?

AU diff will bolt up with little issues. One thing you will need is the rear handbrake cable & you may need the front one but not 100% sure.
