are you talking about the rear indicator and stop lamps? if so there are four 8mm nuts holding it in from the inside of the car

only if its a wagon

Hey, guys. I just removed one of my rear tail light/indicator assemblies from my '97 EL Falcon GLi wagon. I just removed the 4 retaining nuts and pulled the assembly outward from the car, once the glue holding the gasket to the body of the car has separated, the assembly will simply pull out. There are no clips at all, just 4 simple nuts.

Just in case anybody decides to go out and buy a socket set, the 4 retaining nuts are 10mm. Good luck guys, it's easy once you have done it once.
