1988 ford falcon EA MPI -spac Manual )) For the past few hours i've been trying to bleed my brakes using the 2 person method, 1 on brake pedal other on bleeder screw. There seems to be an endless stream of bubbles coming through when bleeding... I thought it'd be normal seeing as the car is quite old, however i noticed that the new fresh brake fluid is now starting to come through this end... still producing a **** ton amount of bubbles... the brake pedal is spongy, can hear a slight hiss sound when pressing the brake pedal down, and when lifting it back up... not a constant hiss, just a singular hiss each time ( master cylinder area ) I am bleeding from the furthest point... wondering if this could be a master cylinder problem or brake booster problem?

Sounds like the master is stuffed.....when you lift your foot off the pedal, it will be sucking air in past the pushrod end of the master.

Right, should i think about some kind of rebuild kit, or just buy a new or working 2nd hand master cylinder for the time being ( Trying to get car ready for rego )

I've pulled the master apart to find that the seals are in great condition, however the rod inside the brake booster and around that area seem to have some corrosion, is this normal, also if it were possible to find a cheap 2nd hand working master cylinder, it'd be great, it's just for getting over the pits ( limited funds )
