Hi there, just wondering, if i pull the red xr6 door moulds off my el and repaint them, what should i use to stick them back on? And what would be the best way to remove the leftover double sided tape or whatever they use off the paint after pulling them off, any ideas is appreciated, cheers :)

Use double sided tape to stick them back on, and you can use thinners to remove the adhesive, but you want to wash it off pretty quickly with eithier water or prepsol, Prepsol MIGHT work for getting the adhesive off too, but thinners will work better it's just harder on paint. Also a hair dryer will help too.

If they're stuck to the car okay now - leave them on and do them in situ.

You won't find any double sided tape as good as factory - that includes 3M as well.

I can confirm this.
I ended up having to resort to using Sikaflex to glue the Fairmont moulds on my old EF wagon because the all of the aftermarket tapes were s**t... But once you do that you will have a bad time trying to get them off again.
