I've been thinking about using a tank of it between every 4-5 tanks of 91 or 95 ULP as I have heard it can get rid of water in fuel system. All sorts of issues but ill find out exactly!!! I just use 95/98 and only use petrol stations that are busy as you know your getting a fresh batch... No. Just because they are busy dont mean they always have a fresh batch. If the fuel in the stations tanks is never aloud to drop low enough to use the old fuel it will mean the stale fuel will mix with the fresh stuff. If the tanks are aloud to drop low and then topped up, all the crap at the bottom of the tanks will mix with the new fuel. |

If you really want to know about the fuel your getting from your local, start a conversation with the person behind the counter. They are bored s**t anyway. Ask what the boss is like and how often they do water paste tests. Chances are if the boss is a prick who dont care about anything other than himself and his station's always a mess the fuel will be of no concern. Most p****d off employers will tell you the flaws of the boss and you might find out what short cuts he does.
Ask when water paste tests are done. Check out the site. There will be metal covers with the fuel type written on the covers or nearby, if there is a high chance the covers will not stop water entering around the dip point chances are water will get in. Most workers that do the dips wont care about a bit of water getting in the tank, its normally late and done by a curry who's working his 3rd shift for the day anyway who dont give 2 s**t about the fuel. |

I used to escort a guy around a 24hr caltex at night while he checked out the pumps and sometimes did a dip. I'm quite sure he once said the dips changed from weekly to monthly when a New boss took over.so petrol could be complete garbage and they wouldnt even know for a month

Saying that its easy to fudge the totals if your lazy ( I never did as I got paid to do a job, not a half a** job). Water Paste tests use to be done daily too and recorded for the united reps to see. Maybe some places do it weekly, but when your selling fuel you need to make sure its 100%. You get a word around for selling s**t fuel it will crush the business. |

I wouldn't use E10 if it was free.
Woolies fuel is crap....wifes runs like crap on it...even she noticed it. I run BP Ulitmate 100% of the time in my ED and my CBR1100XX. When it's summer time here, and I'm using some fresh petrol to wash some parts, you can see the surface of the petrol go white.....thats how humid it gets here.....doesn't do it in the middle of the day in winter though.....dry as, then.

I use it the AU. For the negligible increase in consumption its worth it over straight 91. Also E10 is now badged as E10 94 at 7/11 servo's.

After a bit of experience, E85 FTW. Currently running it in my brothers "Daily" - A Suzuki Baleno with ALOT of work. Currently sitting ~20% up in power on E85 vs 98. Gets 400k's to a tank on E85 vs 500 on 98.
