Hi Guys,

I've just bought a 2007 BF Fairlane and I want to do a transmission flush.

I wanted to supply my own 20ltrs of fluid, replacement metal sump with removable filter and new bolts.

I've been informed a proper flush requires a machine and cannot be done at home.

Does anyone know of any transmission places that will help me out...As I am trying to save as much cash as I can.

Thanks

you can flush it at home, it's easier with two people though.
I have a 06 territory with a zf and i'm doing it on my own

jhaynes85, I suspect you are after what is called a running flush, as the only way to completely change the oil in your transmission, including the torque converter. I had my EB done by professionals 15 years ago, and at the time it cost $300. They run flushing oil through and then new oil, so it is very fresh.

you just disconnect the inline to the trans cooler or rad, and while engine runs keep adding fresh oil till it comes out clean then turn off engine and add the rest of the oil to trans.
and if doing full service do filter kit
