I got rear ended the other week by a vacant minded taxi driver so my beloved SR is in at the repairers getting a new rear bodykit. Now that the rear bumper will be looking schmick again (had a few marks and wear and tear on it) I have been spurred me on to look for a replacement front bumper for it as I managed to crack it a couple of months ago to have my whole car looking nice again. I'm pretty handy and manage tools ok for a girl (my Dad's a mechanic) so wondering if it's feasible to attampt to do it myself? And if so where can you buy the bumpers from? It's the BA SR with the straight line under the headlights. Any/all help appreciated!

Fitting a new bar will be no major issue. Tracking down a BA SR front bar may be another issue. You could look at fitting a Fairmont bar. After market GT/F6 bars are available to suit the standard headlights if that takes you fancy.
