Anyone know whats doing with the speaker system in the BA utes, I've got an 2003 XL "SE" Pack, with the 2 speaker 50 watt stereo, want to put a pair of 6x9"s in the back sidewalls behind the seats, the XLS's have spekers there, but not the XL's, the Ford dealer back home in Orange couldn't tell me if a harness was there or not, and wanted to charge me to try and find it (It's still under warranty) I've had a look myself but can't trace anything through the system harness, does anyone know where this harness may be, or even if it exists, any help would be appreciated

you'll find the factory speakers are 5x7's not 6x9's, and id expect the loom to be there... its a fairly easy job to get the trim out and have a look...

Mate don't bother trying to put in rear speakers you can't even hear them anyway. I spent a fair bit of time putting 6x9's in the rear of my BA XR8 Ute and couldn't hear s**t. Get a decent set of front splits and a sub behind the seat, you'll be pleased.
