hey buddy,

i was in your situation 12 months ago.
i stripped off my standard exhaust and but a high flowing cat in and pacemakers 4480's.
went to tune it and had a chat with people about camming these engines.

i previous had a ute with a cam allready fitted and my friend fitted a big stick to standard springs early days prior to the echaust.

but only recently i have gone with a Wade Regrind, i had some minor issues at first but have no problems with it now.
to be smart about it look for a Standard falcon cam from your model to use as teh doner if you go a Regrind, that way you can keep teh original if your not happy.

all up it cost me $220 for the grind and the 2nd hand cam i found. ( didnt know that ford mods got discounts  )

i ended up with a 977B with the Lobe Sep at 110 to give it a more beafy sound. a tuner on this site is currently working on a custom grind that would currently push my car from the base tune of 150rw(ish) to 175rw(ish) Cam only.

Do your homework on what the car is mainly used for, and if its a manual or auto also plan on that.
