Ok guys I'm pretty p****d of had my car tuned at Bruce hendrich performance Adelaide , I've got an au ute with a Hotish 347 my question is he couldn't tune my car rite with the 90 mm maf sensor and bigger intake I put on but I've seen heaps of 347s with 90 mm mafs I had to put back my other air intake with te 73 mm maf he said it made more power with the 90 mm but didn't run right, also my car made 223 rwkw before all this since I've put bigger difilippo 4 into 1s twin 2.5 "exhaust ported the top plenum a bit, 75 mm throttle body and 73 mm maf sensor and now I only have 220 rwkw what the f**k the car doesn't even wheel spin second gear any more

Look around, for a tuner for SCT Stuff. I have a 90mm MAF, 90mm TB and all custom tubing between the 2 on my 351 and mine works beautifully. Mine is tuned with an SCT Switch Chip, but you should be able to tune your AU with an X3. Seeing as your in Adelaide, I would try someone like KPM, or even CAPA.
Your tuner needs the correct MAF transfer tables, and all should be sweet. Good luck Brett

Get a new tuner. If I can self tune my car with a quarterhorse, how hard can it be to get a tune right when the MAF curve of the 90mm MAF is widely available. It just then needs to be fine tuned.

Yeah the car is tuned with an sct x3 flash tunner, so it is definately possible to get the tune right with. A 90 mm maf on a 347 then, it's a bit s**t I've just spent $500 to get it tunned if I take it else where there's and other at least $300, but yeah something is definately wrong it doesn't even pull me back in 3rd like it use to seems to have lost a s**t load of tourqe

It does not matter what brand of J3 you use (Sniper / SCT / Chiptorque / ...), your tuner needs to be comfortable tuning MAF V8s - which are completely different to tuning Speed Density 6 cylinders.
The critical part is using the correct MAF Transfer for your MAF. It sounds like your tuner did not do this. If you are not happy with the work done you should speak with your tuner and get it retuned!

Yeah that's exactly rite mate he is well known to tune 6 turbos but he even said to me he hates tuning cammed windsors, it's amazing how much a tune can make or break your car I took it for another doing last night in the cold and it's still going like s**t, he did spend 1 and a half days on it so he treys but in the end I'm not happy with the loss of power so weyer it's the rite thing for him to give my money back or re tune it for free I don't know it's a bit of a sticky situation,

As him the question directly, did he start from a correct transfer for the 90mm LMAF? If not, Google the part number and provide it to him.
Cheers, Jason
