Ok,
I know there are a tone of fabricator genius's here, so who do I speak to to get a custom oil pickup tube for my BA 4.0. My sump has been modded, and I was perhaps a little happy with the grinder and hammers, so now I need a custom pickup tube. Willing to see a fab shop, but hoping the likes of Daz, or XCABBI could point me in the right direction. Cheers Brett

Remoddify the sump, don't f**k with the oil pickup.

The sump is right for the car, and I may have used a hammer to get it there, but was a little judicious with its use. Why else lol

I thought Daz recently cut and welded a barra sump to suit e series? Maybe get another sump and let him work his magic?

All sorted, Pickup tube reduced by 8mm at the front. Clears and bolts up no worries. Next is to finish the cooling system and drop the motor back in the hole.
Cheers Brett

If you were needing to add bends in I would suggest going down to the local steel supplier and seeing what they have that would match your oil pickup. Then a cheap pipe bender from bunnings should do the trick, weld it into place and Bob's your uncle.
