hey I was wondering what would be a better camshaft upgrade for a el 97 xr6 to get a we bit more power out of the motor.

They do regrind cams in many different variations.

You don't have to send the cam from your car. Get hold of an unused spare from somewhere.. AFAIK they are the cheapest option for a cam.

If that's still not an option though, look up the crow cam catalogue online.
