I have had enough of the warping front rotors of the standard brakes I have purchased the pbr 325mm front brake setup and territory ventilated rears that i am planning to install. Is there any one who has already done this that can answer my questions?
Is there any abs, stability, traction control issues? Is the standard master the same as the premium one?

there shouldn't be any abs or traction control issues as the sensor reads off the hub not the rotors..
I don't know if master cyl are actually different but i have done this brake conversion on my au3 xr8. I used the au master cyl with fg turbo premium front brakes and fg turbo/territory rears and had no problems with brake pedal travel or response, if anything it has improved the brakes dramatically allowing a lot more abuse before they even start to get hot. |

Thanks Troy, thinking about it the abs should be fine as the brake pressure is set by the amount of peddle force you apply, not so sure about the stability and traction though. I am guessing its a closed loop system and should cope with a wide variety of pad and rotor types and condition.

not sure about stability control but the traction control operates via abs, it reads and monitors the pulses from all 4 tone wheels and when one changes within a certain % it will either activate abs or traction control depending on which wheel changes road speed and wether your braking or accelerating..
so unless you have mismatched tyre sizes it should make any difference.. |
