Hi all,

I'm new to the forums as I just bought my BA falcon xr6 sedan and I want to install some audio but don't want to do any speaker modifications eg brackets and spacers


I just want to know if anyone knew the standard speaker sizes on the ford BA xr6 sedans

Because I plan on just buying aftermarket speakers in the standard sizes and putting a 12" subin the boot

I have a bf mk2 xt are the speaker sizes front and back both 5x7 ? if so can you buy quality after market speakers to fit in the factory locations?

yes... I got a set of soundstream sst5.7 and they are 130wrms and sound really good for there size..

there are other brands around, also depends on how much you want to spend?

You can also get a MDF adaptor plate to be able to fit 6.5" round speakers on place of the 5x7.
That's what I have in the ute. They are just plug and play. No mods required.
