I have a police (opt20) ECU that came out of a 98 Falcon GLI the catch code is 6DNB, I have the ECU for sale and been asked if it will suit a 94 EF falcon. My understanding is that the EL runs a distributor as opposed to the EF's coil pack ignition which makes me think it's not a suitable swap. Can anyone confirm this? Thank you in advance! (haven't yet been told if the potential buyer has a GLI, fairmont etc...)

All ef 6s are coil pack. All el 6s are dizzy. Unless its been converted
