Hey guys hope you are all well.

Thinking of installing an aftermarket Head Unit into my Ba. Im currently running the AUX input into the back of the fuse panel. Was thinking of plugging head unit into AUX input, but where would be the best place to source some power...First option is using mobile phone plug in the back of the fuse panel, it has ACC, Constant Power and Neg, but im curios if its fused up? Or, second option is cigarette lighter and boot release for constant power....

Thoughts???

Hey

One of the best and easiest places i found was sourcing the power from the ignition barrel.. Easy to get to and has everything you need like a constant, Ignition and ground. it also means you can easily hide your wires under the plastic. so no prob there

hope i helped

Thanx for that mate, its all been done now. I ended up using the mobile phone plug next to the aux input behind the fuse panel. I used a piece of old extension cord and a 4 pin plug that I got from Jaycar for about $3.00...works perfectly, no need to cut into any factory wiring and its also fused up.
