I want to know if atomic knew it was going in a n/a car or if its customer error. If the OP has f**k up its tough titty but you would think through small talk the sales bloke would have found out it was going in an n/a engine unless it was a net buy.
The link I posted from fordforums had a stage 4 atomic cam they have listed as for na or turbo setup, so maybe you can get a variant? Either that or another fordforum threads talking s**t lol |

Atomic cams have gone in a number of NA cars before, ive seen a high stalled BF auto go 218rwkw with 4+'s and a FG manual go 220rwkw with 4's.
Not my personal pick for cams though. CMS themselves i believe recommend Crow Cams. The main difference with them to suit the turbo's seem to be longer exhaust duration, where Crow and Camtech keep equal duration on inlet and exhaust, unless you go custom. |

Turbo/supercharger cams usually have an LSA of 114* to 116*.......112* would be wasting boost.
Maybe the engine should have a degree wheel chucked on it to see what you really have.

I would have thought just looking at the spec's there would be some kind of improvement, but then when I read about them being designed for boosted car's and its in a N/A I thought the OP has zero chance now of a return or complaint. Good point though, I suppose it would depend on what the cost will be to have it checked out. The op has already spent good money on tunes and the cam, maybe cut the losses and sell it and grab another set? |

After a long discussion with Joe @ cms we are going to put the stock cams back in and tune it to see what power it makes. I think that's the only way to see if it the cams. The engine as been thoroughly checked and is in %100 working order . Joe is pretty confident that it will make the same if not more power.
It's not just that it didn't make power the car takes ages to start and constantly stalls at lights it's just a dog. And it's not like there an over aggressive cam or anything or that cms is new to this kind of thing. They could do cams with there eyes closed lol. As for ppl saying there for boosted cars. The stage 4. Part no 306551 are very much for n/a 6. Although after talking to a few tuners who speak very highly of atomics parts for turbo cars they said stay away from their n/a stuff , it pays to ask around before spending your hard earnt $$$$$ It's all getting done in a week or so. I just hope it's not my car cos I'm going to be one very broke person plus my wife is going to kill me lol. |

The car made 171rwkw with the stock cams back in. So I will be sending them back to atomic.
