just bought a wrecked ba series 1 with a 4 speed auto with 327 rwk that i am going to fit to my ute ,while it is out of the car i am thinking of fitting new con rods to it . its just my funds at the moment are not the best .just would be a shame if they let go and stuff the engine.i have wondered if i am better of waiting ,and buy a fg bottom end and fit it in the future and just have some fun with it now .ps the engine has 108000 klm on the clock mods have been done 30000 klm and only 11 month ago lots of highway use .my ute is also a 4 speed is my tail shaft going to fit the xr 6 4 speed or are they a different spline ,or is the box in a different position to the v8 one (shorten or lengthen the tail shaft ?)
