does the au injectors require a big clip to hold them in place on the fuel rail? and should they slide up and down from the intake to the fuel rail or should they be a tight fit?

yes they should have a clip. no they should not slide up and down.

The clip doesn't fit when you use AU injectors in an E-series fuel rail.
It was never a problem for me.

ive got the clip on the AU injectors in an EF. works for me

i got au injectors in my el the clips fit fine
