you will have to get a new bonnet and bumper bar to fit the lights. Unless you get a twinlight conversion.

You will still need to change the bonnet even if you are changing the front bar.

Example Fairmont with Twinlights

As was said, you will need to change the bonnet to a GLi one.

Will you sell your fairmont bonnet, front bar, grill and lights?
I may be interested :D

Yeah I've read they are different.
I was thinking maybe it could be cut at the wiper section and shorten then change hinge location.
Or is the bonnet on an xh wider with a different curve? I've never seen them side by side

Anything is possible with enough time and money. I have cut up the odd bonnet or two but do you realise the work required to do what you want? Many have talked about the Fairmont bonnet but I have never seen it done.

Grab hold of an old GLi bonnet and measure it up. If you can make a GLi work then you will be able to do it to the Fairmont bonnet.

Great point!
Mates got a wrecking yard! Hopefully he's got a spare and if he does... let the cutting begin! haha
If I found an easy way it might be worth doing a thread on it to help the x series drivers.
