Better spray pattern, maybe a slight improvement in economy. No actual power increase.

what do you mean they don't fit???

they are the same diameter where they go into the rail and same length..

ea injectors are same as ef/el, and the au injectors fit ef/el so they will fit ea...

try putting a little bit of motor oil around the seal and give it a good push. I've found the seals can swell and make it a little difficult.

not much really.. mine seemed to idle smoother..maybe a little more responsive with the better spray. But as said above no power gain.

Interior of engine bay?

Seriously, though. AU injectors have four small holes instead of the E-series' single large one, for better spray and atomisation. I put AU injectors in my EF a couple weeks ago, and it's definitely smoother, especially at idle. There's possibly a minor improvement in fuel economy and torque, but you'd have to do back-to-back dyno runs to know for sure.
