Firstly I have king lows all around on my EF, but due to the big bastard gas tank in the boot the rear of my car sits a little lower than the front. (removing the spare tyre evens things out a bit but who wants to do that)
What I want to know is does this have a negative or postive effect on acceleration? The extra tank weight, and the tilt shifting the cars centre of gravity a little further back does add alot of traction. I gotta really try to spin the wheels. But ive seen many performance cars that are tilted down at the front more.. is that for looks? aerodynamics? I dunno. I was thinking of maybe putting super lows on the front to compensate, but its kinda hard to throw out springs that have only done 20,000km

well the extra weight will slow u down a little but the car being lower will improve handling, all cars lower on the back with a full tank of fuel.

yea I shoulda mentioned im taking into account extra weight being bad. Im thinking more from a distribution of weight point of view.

There's more weight which will hamper acceleration yes. As for the uneven springs, it wouldn't affect it that much.. However with more weight in the back I would think you'd be able to get traction easier hence better acceleration. It's only a minor thing.

I find that my kings lows sit up too high in the back anyway and they aren't level with the front. I'm thinking of having mine reset an inch lower to balance it out (and hopefully get more traction)

If you put softer springs in the back you would find it will squat more, hence more traction.
