Hi all,
I have always loved all the cars with Daytime running lights and wanted to make my Ford join the club so I finally bit the bullet and changed my headlights. Here are some photos for those curious since I searched the internet and couldn't find any before I bought them (just tried my luck and hoped they looked good). It's a 2007 Ford Fairmont MK II Ghia. Here is the car with stock headlights: Here is me trying to install them and realising that I had to take the bumper off to reach one screw which really annoyed me: Here are the lights all installed. Not too much of a difference from the original when off: These are the daytime lights on: These are the headlights on: I'll probably be changing all the yellow bulbs to halogen. What do you guys think? |

I like them. Love the BF II Ghia as well. Well done.

Not a fan of any of the Ford versions of these lights.
They would be 100 times better if the LEDs followed the shape of the light, instead of just being a random bar across the headlight. What is the light performance like compared to stock? low beam and high beam? |

They are a generic light that do the job. If you look at aftermarket VE-BF-Etc. they are all the same light, just posted in different light frames.(from the same supplier). I had an accident and had to replace one head light, for the price-i chose these and couldn't be happier- they do exactly (and more) than i want them to do! |

I know what you mean mad. I think it would have looked better if they had sat at the bottom of the lights like the Audi's do (although I have seen some late model Audi's have them in the middle of the headlights as well).
Wow those lights look great on a dark blue paint job! My next mod will be a dark tinting to go with the black headlights but I'm quite happy with the outcome. In terms of practicality these lights are great. I mean the stock headlights did the same job but high beams are insanely bright. I travel on some pretty dark roads at times and I don't like to use them out of courtesy to oncoming traffic. Straight headlights do the job just fine to be honest. |

I like the drl's but when I put some one my ba fairmont I found the main headlight didn't have much beam power, so yeah def need to change bulb. It's a shame you can't change the led aswell as they arnt that bright either
