you realise straight cut gears are for MANUAL only

they are noisy

you need to realy figure out EXACTLY what you are after

and then go from there

all your posts/threads are for different builds

I don't think you'll be able to fit Mark Knopfler into that gearbox I'd save your money.

Didn't know anyone made an aftermarket gear set for the BTR, let alone one with straight cut gears. The price sounds ridiculously cheap too.

Yeah. Thats what Frank said "you realise straight cut gears are for a MANUAL", NOT Auto. He read it fine. Your wrong. Frank was letting you know that straight cut gears are for MANUAL. Yours is auto. Wont work. Your trying to get as much info as needed, but when people tell you it wont work you sit there telling them to read it correctly? From where im sitting i think you need to read it correctly.

they apparently are straight cut planetary gears .i know that they have clutches .look if i just get people arguing instead of helping whats the point of asking a question .and if this is ford modification web address well then its not for standard components that i am asking for i want a modified car in the end ,when i am finished .if anyone thinks that modifying is changing to a hotter spark plug they are at the wrong web address

look what i just found
he put AU/earlier planetary gears in. he explained they have meatier teeth on them
and they are straight cut. he also explained the AU gears aren't that much better than BA
gears however they are better. he also treated the gears however I don't know exactly what he did.

he also explained the gearbox would be louder because the gears weren't as refined however i was happy to put up with the barely noticeable noise (that sounded f***ing awesome as it wound up)
to have a bit of security.

I'll get back with valves and the solenoid soon ( found this on this forum )
