Hi guys,
Ive been scratching my head over this for a while and can't seem to figure it out. Symptoms: - ISC plugged in - High Idle (Sits around the 2300RPM) - Unplug ISC - Drops to 500rpm - ISC Plugged in - Turn on Aircon (Drops to 1200RPM) (If anything I thought it would have gone higher?) - Unplug ISC with aircon - Drops to 500rpm I've replaced the ISC with a known working one and checked for vac leaks. Reason why I want to use the ISC as mornings are a pain, (it being manual) and using aircon and going around corners is dangerous. EB Fairmont | Manual | BBM Manifold - Does it on gas and petrol. Any help much appreciated, Cheers, Ash

I have my ISC permanetly unplugged. And have the idle screw adjusted so it idles at 750. 100% better drivability, 100% better overall, no rev hang, no fluctuating idle etc.
Only downfall is on first startup in the morning i have to hold my foot on the throttle at 750 for 15-20secs. Then she behaves herself. But for a one off thing (only in the morning) its well worth it. Plus doesnt bother me because i wait until i have full oil pressure and let it warm up for a few mins before going anywhere.
