Hey, on every E series I have ever driven, weather it is EA-ED or EF/EL, the fusebox cover OFTEN falls off if I go down an even slightly bumpy road, it's as annoying as hell. It does it on my EF/EL Bitsa, my mate's EB, my dad's NC Fairlane and my other mates EL and most other E series that I have seen. What solutions are there to this problem?

heat up the locking tab a bit and bend it so its grabs better and hold it there til it cools down. that way fixed mine

Heat gun or Hair dryer and heat up the tabs then bend them (I'm not sure whether inwards or outwards) a little so it fits tighter.

Done this to mine a few months ago now when my fuse box cover kept falling off and it hasn't fallen once.

Ahh cool I'll try that, I don't know if it will work on mine though because it has the added weight of a toggle switch that I fitted lol

I'm convinced it's from sitting in the sun for long periods at a time.

Before the EB was off the road it never did it in 10 or so years then it sat in the sun for a couple of months without being opened resulting in the interior turning into a sauna then I go to take it for its first drive and booom fuse box cover falls off

That's my theory lol.
