I have an eb ghia that has sat for a while and I have recently had the motivation to show it some love. Just the other day the sunroof stopped retracting though will still open and shut up and down fine. I was wondering if anyone knows what may have caused this. Am I safe to assume the different functions run on different motors and one may have given up?
On a slightly different topic my electric window switches have become slow to react. They still work but there seems to be quite a delay between when they are depressed and when they activate the windows. Only a matter of a second or two but I would like to fix that also. I hope someone can help, I really love this car despite the missus giving me grief about getting rid of it. |

Sunroof Re-Initialisation Procedure For all factory-fitted sunroofs, the re-initialization procedures are as follows: 1. Ensure engine is running. 2. Press and hold the close button ▼until the glass panel is in the maximum tilt position. Release the button. 3. Press and hold the close button ▼for 5 seconds. An audible click will be heard and the One touch feature is now functional. With the One touch feature, the user is required to momentarily press the control buttons (for 0.3 seconds) to operate a function. 4. One touch the open button ▲to bring glass down to the fully closed position. 5. One touch the open button ▲again to fully open glass panel. 6. Turn ignition off and remove key. The sunroof will now auto close. Initialisation is complete. Sunroof Preset Button Setting (Buttons 1 & 2) Two preset positions can be stored. To program: 1. Place the roof panel in the first desired position. 2. Press and hold the 1 button until you hear a beep (approx. 3 seconds) 3. Place the panel in the second desired position. 4. Press and hold the 2 button until you hear a beep (approx. 3 seconds) To select either programmed position simply one touch buttons 1 or 2. try a good spray in window tracks with silicon spray and work window up & down several times - may have voltage drop and require boosting main power supply with a relay Attachment: Hollandia Sunroof.pdf
