Hi guys,

Like the description says, when I have my headlights on the tail and brake lights don't come on, but when I have the headlights off, the brake lights work fine. Does any one know what the problem might be? Driving a 2001 au xr6..

Any help would be awesome!

weird stuff like that will happen when you have the wrong globes in your tail lights.

+1 Id put in those LED stop tails in mine and when I indicated right the tail lights would turn on. Try the globes and work back.

Bit hard to put them in wrong way round. Have a close look at the pins on the side of a Brake/Parklight Globe. Pins on the side are offset.

no earth to rear lights will cause brakelights to pick up earth thru front park & dash lights when lights are OFF but wont operate with lights on because system is supplying power to both stop & tail light wires-
repair or run earth to globe holders and recheck
