just heard from a mate that the jack daniels drag team are getting rid of there chev and getting a BA falcon next year.
anyone heard similar?

actually they are selling both of there current doorslammers (studebakers) and building 2 identical ba falcons with factory backing from ford australia, brett stevens will be driving one and his wife is driving the other.

they will be keeping the sponsership from jack daniels and still running the nitro funny car and top bike harley aswell.

i don't think it a nitro flopper, it only a top alky funny car there running,


There no real comp for nitro floppers in Aust.

They stopped running nitro floppers over 10 years ago. The only nitro class permitted in australia is top fuel. Floppers may come back in a few years depending on interest and potential growth.
