Hi
I need to change the frount electric window regulators on my el fairmount.
I can buy new ones on ebay for $95 each, question is are they any good, or does anyone have a suggestions where I can buy good ones.
I bought new headlights recently but they were rubbish.

I have bought both an EL aftermarket job and a BA aftermarket job..

both worked well enough, I doubt they will last as long as the originals did, but since they are cheap.. that's the price you pay.

you can probably get a genuine from someone wrecking an EL cheaper.. I know a guy sells genuine BA jobs for 60 bucks from memory... but he's always sold out and I didn't want to wait so I went with the ebay jobs.

Thanks for the reply
I would not expect it to last as long as the origional, as long as it works.
I am inclined to not buy the cheapest and hopefully buy better quality, or are they all coming from the same factory?

all the non genuine ones probably are yes.. I can't imagine there are two many factories in china knocking out E series windows regulators... the market would not be big enough.

iv just converted the drivers side from manual to electric window regulators, it took about half ab hour. without aligning it properly it runs pretty smooth and the motor sounds like it should. hopefully these cheap ebay replacements hold up.

tomorrow ill post some amp readings, hopefully someone can post readings from a stock/genuine setup
