This may sound like a noob question but I'm not really experienced in vehicle electronics. So I don't know exactly how to ask but I want to install a sports shift from a bA onto my 4spd and I want to know if I can somehow tune it to disable it dropped back gears while it's in sports mode... Would this be possible??

You could always manualize the gearbox via s1 and s2 solenoids. Iv written an arduino program so autos can have paddle shift, tiptronic shifts. I could always post the code if you'd like, although it works it's not finished.

I don't want to go full Manualised, I want it to remain full auto on economy. If it's possible I'll pick your brain if that's ok

If you do a google search on ford btr controller you should find a thread about it linking to fordmods. I think the controller is 4-500.... Something like that. There's a guy that sells the kits
