I have an ea with a turboed au vct engine which has got a bit of crank end float so am going to replace the block and crank with another one just wondering which block is the best between the ef el au etc. And what are the differences?

AU Block, bigger main bearings, cross bolted on the caps. Better balanced crank.

Cool thanks gunna try find a s2 or 3 one cos apparently the series 1 motors had problems with crank end float. Even though it was very little number of them that did i dont wanna risk having the same problem again
