wtf i always though hard drivers were vacume sealed and if u opened em hey were f**k, looks kewl.
i modded a case ages ago bit over that now though |

i modded a case ages ago bit over that now though nah, theyre fine to open, and even swap servo's if you get really keen. Dust and moisture are your biggest enemy!

i modded a case ages ago bit over that now though Hard drives aren't vacuum sealed... they actually operate on an aerodynamic principle, and NEED air to run... Like waggin said, its dust thats the main problem. and since dust is EVERYWHERE in the air, open your drive, and there is a good chance when you seal it again, that you introduced some dust with it. |
