I have a few questions:
1- will they bolt straight in- (front and back including side bolsters) 2- will it be plug and play? Assuming the BA fiarmont has the high series loom/s. Passenger seat in BA2 FAirmont is manual. in BALTD electric 3- does the BA fiarmont have the high series loom 4- will the air bags work 5- will all the wiring work a little confused here esp being an LTD so any help will be appreciated.

I can only help with a little bit of info!
The seats will bolt in if you use the original Fairmont seat base sand the bolsters won't fit! |

not sure about ltd to fairmont, but i have done ba fairmont ghia to ba xt. seats bolted straight in, issues i had were the seats had airbags. xt didnt have them so no wiring support, simply didnt plug them in and used the airbag loop plug from an xt. as for electric seats, i removed the base and used the xt drivers base. upgraded the body loom later for four way power windows, but never got around to refitting the ghia seat base before selling the car...

How did this all go?
I put BF Fairlane seats into a BA XR8 many many years ago. Everything was bolt in except for the rear seat side bolsters. I had a local trim shop trim the Fairlane leather over some XT moulded foam side bolsters and in they went. Even the rear LTD/Fairlane door trims bolt straight into a sedan. If it's going into a Fairmont Ghia you should mostly be right. But if it's going into anything else, you're going to hit troubles with having no wires for the passenger powered seat. I'm also not sure whether you'll have loom power to the drivers memory module either. That underseat memory module is what drives the memory mirrors and memory pedals, but you need the loom wires for that. Lukeyson |
