I bought a bf with vapor injection lpg/duel fuel 140xxx that was in need of a front end for 2K

How now came across a hail damaged ba xr6t 5 spdfor 3k.

Ill be using the majority of the xr parts as I can. However I wamt to keep it auto. Besides diff, turbo setup, interior, body kit. What else should I be transferring over and how much boost should I be running.

Will you be using the turbo engine? Or just the bolt on bits?

What do you think the difference is between an XR6 Engine and an XT engine... Nothing. Turbo XR6 is another matter.

Plenty of stock AU/E series engines with BTR 4 speeds have been turboed on 12psi with little to no issues so I see no reason that a Barra and box can't take 12psi.

Id be very carefull with a ba or bf btr, ford recommend not to service them" unless used for towing or motorsport" and as ive discovered with mine i was the first to service it at 150000kms. Now its been found after another 20.000kmd its full of metal filings in the oil. My high km ef was never anything like it when serviced.

I've run over 16 lbs boost for the last three years on a BAXL povo pack ute and she's not blown up yet. Was running it at about 14 for 3 years before that.
