Hi all,
just read on a US website where a guy is building up an Aussie crossflow - he says that pre crossflow and crossflow flywheels interchange is this true?? Also, what about bell housings? do they also interchange?? Cheers for any help you can offer!

I think they are the same.....remember converting a TC Cortina 250 from auto to manual, and we used an Xflow flywheel and clutch......this was about 25 years ago, though.
However, I know the yanks had narrow and wide blocks in the Pre xflows....they had different flywheels.

Fairly sure they are different.....I think the hole in the bellousing for the front bearing retainer on the g'box are bigger for the 4sp...as well as a different bolt pattern. I know Valiants are like that.
