Hi guys,
To my surprise I found a bit of rust developing under a welded seam in the boot of my car. Although its only fairly minor for now I want to stop it from progressing further down the track.
For now ive tried cleaning it as much as I can and ive hammered the infected area with kill rust and fish oil. Is this enough to stop any further progress ?
The reason how I found this is I noticed my mates BF is extremely bad where it needs pretty much a professional to repair and I don't want to be in his shoes.

I think that's all you can do, some au's are prone to the same problem.

the problem is, between the 2 metal surfaces its bare steel and bare steel and moisture = rust..
imo fish oil the f**k out of all the spot welded seams..

Thanks Tman. Yep done that for now. Hopefully its enough. As we know its hard to get between the seams without a big operation.
