Hi, i thought i post up some pics of my quick shift i've installed. the main object of this post is to give people ideas when they install theres.
so please throw up some pics get the ideas out there! first of if you havent made the circuit it can be found here: ford-4l-and-6-cylinder-f1/shift-kit-info-compiled-t84386.html so i made the circuit about 4 months ago and i'v had it in a blue jaycar box. i thought it would be time for an upgrade rather than rattling around everywhere! im a cnc machinist so this was not a hard task although i must say the plate was made by one of my workmates, i made the more simple knob from 316 ss and the plate was made from aluminium (not sure of the grade) maby 2011? anyway pics! Attachment: Attachment: Attachment: Attachment: Attachment: sorry i never took pics while installing it, hopefully its all self explanatory!

Since writing that article I have discovered that adding more horsepower and more cubes is the best way to get wheelspin on gear changes. However, that looks pretty damn cool. It would be good if someone ran straight off the TPS signal though and had it triggered instantaneously by that, like adaptive shift from the au's. The only problem with adaptive shift though is that it doesnt happen straight away. It usually kicks in after you've done the thrash.
