howdy gents. thought this would be the best place to ask, and mods if this is in the wrong place please move.
I just found out my mate has a brand new police spec instrument cluster for the au. now my questions are: 1. is there a difference between 6cylinder and 8 cylinder clusters? 2. is there a difference between series 1, 2 and 3 clusters? 3. what would it be worth? cheers

cant put a s2,3 cluster in a s1 and vice versa
and AFAIK the v8 and i6 are not interchangeable

there are a few differences that don't allow the swap between s1 and s2 to work correctly,
but 6cyl and v8 clusters are the same... |

thanks heaps. pretty sure its a series 2/3 as he got it when he used to work at tickford at the end of the au's. but its only the 4 gauge dash, not the 6 gauge.
any ideas on what it would be worth?

tbh. being a base spec cluster wether its police or not, I don't think its worth much.

that was the case in eb/ed as the tacho got signal from the tfi module ,but from ef onwards it gets the tacho signal from ecu..
